Diana Zic, Yoga Instructor
Diana has always been an active and health conscious person. She’s been taking group fitness classes at the gym for years, participates in local 5K runs, and you may see her cycling the city or even just taking a long walk to the community garden in her neighborhood as an easy day off. After a lower back injury occurred in 2007, she decided to try a yoga class. She soon realized she was missing an integral part in her fitness regimen: yoga! She found yoga eased her body aches as well as her racing mind. Over the last ten years, she has practiced Vinyasa, Hatha, Ashtanga, Hot Power, Vin & Restorative, Yiniyoga, Forrest Yoga, Kundalini and Yoga for Fertility.
In 2011, she decided she wanted to learn more about this transformational experience and hoped to share it with others. She completed her 200 hour certified yoga teacher training program at Equinox in its Pure Yoga program. Thereafter, she began teaching part-time in the office environment, gyms, and private classes. In September 2015, she decided to leave her paralegal career behind to pursue her dream of working in the health and wellness field full-time. Since then, she has broadened her yoga education by attending various trainings and workshops including Vin & Restorative, completing her 95-Hour Prenatal Yoga Certification with Amala School of Prenatal Yoga; received her certification from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition as Health and Wellness Coach; Optimal Fertility Program with Integrative Women’s Health Institute; and is currently finishing up a training in hormone health as her passion focuses on fertility health. She believes integrating a holistic wellness approach is a perfect recipe for becoming fully fertile.
Diana teaches Yoga for Fertility classes and Prenatal Yoga classes at Pulling Down the Moon. Her lighthearted and easy going class approach leaves her students feeling strong, capable, and at ease in their bodies and minds.
